How do I install a Yamaha USB-MIDI driver when I keep getting error saying: "Error 025001. No device is connected. Connect a device, and try again." ?

I would guess either the device is faulty, the USB port is faulty or there is a software glitch.
It used to happen to me a lot and it was usually a software problem - I can't prove it but I believe it was a conflict between the operating system and Nero, the cd burning programme.

Such things hardly happen since I stopped trying to use Nero. Software conflicts weren't unusual with low cost programmes which would "borrow" bits of Windows but fail to give them back when the programme was uninstalled.
The easiest way forward was to format the drive and reinstall the operating system.

My Tab will not start, I receive two different "draw failed" messages...if it is charging, it says, 'charging_7.jpg' draw failed. If the USB isn't plugged in the message is logo_expresso7.jpg draw fai

It sounds like the system image (operating software) got corupted and need to be re-installed. If you haven't got a backup image of your tablet, then you need to take it to a cell shop so they can re-install your OS (Operating System) software.

Usb ports not powering a keyboard or mouse

Best would be to determine whether any changes was made to the system prior to the error starting. Changes would include Windows updates, driver installations, hardware installations or software installations and upgrades. If you are unable to determine this, then boot into Safe Mode and view the System and Application Logs. Stop any services which may report that it can't start or has some or other error. If Software upgrades has been done, do a roll back on these and remove any newly installed hardware. If no upgrades where done hardware or software wise then disable all devices which is not required to boot the system and disable all services and applications loading on startup which is not required to boot the system. If the system boots after this then enable each program and devices separately ( Re-booting the computer after each one is enabled ), until the system fails. Disable the last device enabled before system failure and continue the process until finished leaving the devices / programs which causes system failure disabled.

Have cd13v75201004 sound card but canot cat sound from my computer orion computer

check device manager. This can be done in Win XP by right clicking my computer, properties, hardware, then click device manager. Alternative way to enter device manager is by clicking start menu, control panel, system (performance and maintenance), hardware then device manager.

In the deice manager window see if any question marks or exclamation points are visible.

If so, see if it the mark is for an audio device.

If it is an audio device, uninstall the device.

Next, try to install the sound card driver again. If that fails, the enter the device manager and uninstall the sound card again, restart the PC, ignore the hardware manager, and try to install the sound card driver software again.

I would update the sound card driver anyway just in case. Drivers can get corrupt. Just happens.

Hope this works.

Machine freeze up randomly. Must do a hard shutdown. Seems like a motherboard failure

Freezes and crashes are generally caused by some sort of instability in the computer system.

The following is a list of specific problems that can cause instability along with what to check when troubleshooting each.
Viruses can cause instability.
Run a virus check on the computer to look for a possible virus.

Conflicts can cause instability.
Check the Windows Device Manager to see if there are any yellow exclamation marks or red Xs beside the listings for device classifications. If there are, contact Tech Support.

Buggy or damaged software applications can cause instability.
If the system is less stable when certain software programs are running, shut down those programs and see if the problem continues to occur. If the problems stop, chances are that those software programs are causing the problems.

Buggy, outdated, or conflicting drivers can cause instability.
Check manufacturer web sites for updated device drivers for the various devices installed on the computer system, such as: printer drivers, modem drivers, video drivers, sound drivers, USB device drivers, etc.
Update one driver at a time and see if the system stabilizes. If this doesn't work, it may be a hardware problem, so contact Tech Support.

AC problems can cause instability.
Check to see if the computer system is plugged into an overloaded outlet.
Make sure the computer system is plugged into a surge suppressor.

The installation of new devices can cause instability.
There are three typical symptoms that point to this problem:
The computer system fails to boot, freezes during a boot, or freezes during an operation for no apparent reason.
The system fails to recognize the newly installed device.
One or more software applications fail to function as expected after an upgrade.

Hardware failure can cause freezes

Fan failure, cpu failure, memory failure, could be also a cause of freezing.

Keep track of the hardware and software that is added to a computer.
The addition of new hardware and software can often cause problems to occur.

The older a PC, the more likely it is to crash.

When a computer freezes or crashes, chances are that changes made after the last save and when the freeze or crash occurred will be lost.
