depends it may have a power save feature, this will shut of the scale after a set amount of seconds. or it may be faulty. check the user guide to see if it is power save.

My scale is doing the same thing and I can't find anything on how to fix it what a waste of money did you ever get this resolved?

Click on the Software & Driver Downloads link.

Enter your operating system on the next page. Click Next.

Under Driver you can download basic or full featured drivers.

My best advice: Download the software to your desktop. (DO NOT RUN from the site.)

Power up the printer but do not connext the cable to the computer.

Run (double-click) the file you downloaded. Connect the printer when prompted.

Re: Biggest Loser Challenge Bug?? Friends, I have discovered how to get over our collective disappointment!

Follow these steps.

1. Sign in as you would normally (it will say "welcome back")
2. Go to Profile and Settings (its a silhouette of a person)
3. Go to Edit my settings (the gears on the end)
4. Select Health and Lifestyle Tasks
5. Switch ALL OFF!!!!!! remember to press A to save your selection

6. Congrats. Now get back to your goal and become the Biggest loser..

The Biggest Loser Scale is made by the measuring device company Taylor. There are also two models of the "Biggest Loser" Scale. Their website is very slow so I will give you a direct link to the two manuals. you have to be connected to xbox live.

When you step on it and get the err1 message step off wait a few seconds and step back on, remember that while the scale is processing your weight you MUST remain STILL.
