    I need this user manual also. I have a cookbook named Bread Machine Making, perfect every time by Lora Brody and Millie Apter. This book offers tips for baking in all sorts of machines including William Sonoma bread machines. I have made some wonderful bread with this book, following instructions exactly. Be sure to use the same Yeast (SAF...), flours, etc. included in the tips in the first part of the book, though. Another tip... put all ingredients in at room temp and in the order listed. GOOD LUCK!

After looking at a lot of the manuals on the web I found that the Williams Sonoma bread maker model WS0598 is the same machine as the Salton Breadman Ultimate. find it at this web site http://www.breadmachinedigest.com/beginners/archive-of-bread-machine-manuals.php select the Salton Breadman Ultimate. The 'light' 'medium' 'dark display on the top instead of the sides but every thing else is the same. I think that is just a control version difference. it still has the funtion and all the rest in the same order.

We have WS 0598 bread maker. It stopped working. The power is "on", we select and press "start", the timer activates and counts down, but no actions occur. The mixer paddel does not...
Some machines have to warm up before starting the mix/knead especially in cold weather. If your machine still hasn't started within 1/2 hour then you really do have a problem. The warmup phase is frequently part of the program on the whole wheat selection.
