The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device, you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.

I need to dowload pics but no cd to my camera

If your computer is relatively new and has memory card readers built in just take your SD memory card from the camera and stick it in the reader or go buy one. Most ppl don't use the cable from camera to computer, wastes batteries.

Pictures wont down load

If the camera software is loaded and you are connecting the camera to computer.
Remove the softwaree and.
Windows will see the camers as a removable memory device in my computer an put up the scanner camera wizard.
This may reveal more.
You may also have inadvertantly deleted stuff
download www.pcinspector.com
install it to recover any deleted images.
Also try the camera and card in another computer.

How do i down load pic on computer

Almost any computer store (even drugstores these days!) sell inexpensive memory card readers that have a connector that you plug into a USB port on your computer. Most have slots to read several different types and sizes of cards. Just be sure that the reader you buy takes CompactFlash (CF) cards that the Nikon 5700 uses. Your computer treats the card and reader as one more disk drive.

Kodak easy share SV 811

I had the same problem. I use kodak easyshare software and load my pics on to that. Then put all the pics you want in the picture tray. Have your frame plugged into the computer with your usb cord. Then go up to File menu and drop down to "copy to". On my computer it is Folder "E" which is the drive the frame is connected to. Then pick from the Resize drop down menu " best for picture frame', then click copy. You will see the program loading all the pics to E drive. When done, unplug usb cord and you will see it loading on your pic frame. As easy as this is to do, I found it frustrating as well, but when it works, it is easy. Hope this helps

Down load pics

You need P2KMan or a program like it to download things from the phone to the computer. Google P2kMan and you'll find it along with a guide.

set your USB default connection to "memory card"
