your problem is kind of complicated. Check if you have a defective usb flash drive or an usb connector by doing so:
  1. Try other usb flash drive. If it solves the problem you have a defective flash drive
  2. Try to plug in to other usb port. Observe each port. If you see that you have a problem with your usb ports, buy a new usb port card

I keep getting message saying my pc will run faster with 2.0 hi-speed host. how do i get it

Hi! Welcome to FixYa!

USB versions are USB ver 1.1 and USB 2.0 and USB 2.0 has faster transfer rate.
When you're receiving this kind of message, that means you're using a USB device that is compatible with USB 2.0. This happens when you plugged in a USB 2.0 device to a USB 1.1 port on your computer. It simply notifies you that the USB device can perform faster when you have an available USB 2.0 port. I'm not really sure what kind of computer you have and what version of windows you have but you can actually check if you have USB 2.0 by going to Device Manager, click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers and look for "USB2 Enhanced Host Controller" if you don't have this, that means your computer has no USB 2.0 port. Hope this helps.

USB cable is not reading the camera, the cable looks OK no damage

kindly check the usb port to the camera if disconnected or not.usually the problem always to the port becuase of excessive force inserting the usb cable thats why the contact point of the the said port was unsolder. if its happen try to solder or bring to the service center.

The mouse works but when we type on the keyboard, nothing happens

Hi. Well you didn tell what kind of keyboard are you using. Is it a USB or a wireless. I am assuming that it is a USB keyboard.
  1. 1st of all check whether the key board is properly plugged in2 your machine properly, check for loose connections.
  2. Check whether you have plugged it into the correct port, because usually the the internet keyboard do not adapt to the USB port, and a PS/2 to US adapter port wont work.
  3. Download and install the latest Keyboard Software
  4. Before installing the new driver dont forget to uninstall the previous one, install the new one and reboot.

My flash drive keep asking me to format it

Check on your usb port, it is the one causing the problem.

To test, try plugging the flash drive into another usb port. If it did not ask you to reformat, then it was your USB port.

Kindly rate this solution.
