The burners pop whenever the gas is on

One or more of the ignitor switches has shorted out.
You have 4,one each on the valve stem behind the knobs for each burner.

Hello- On modern gas cooktops and ranges when you turn on one burner ALL the burners will click, spark, until that burner is lit. I would ask if the other burners are lighting ok or do you have to use a match? Do you smell gas when all the burners are OFF? You're gas burner has an electronic ignition that you're hearing. Sometimes they can get gunked up and become sticky. If you have been using the stovetop regularly and this problem suddenly appeared, we can assume that the power grounding and polarity are correct. If this is all true, then an igniter or igniters are either wet or dirty. Unplug the electricity and thoroughly clean the burner pieces and specifically the igniters (little separate cylinder next to each burner) with a sponge or other non-abrasive dishrag and hot soapy water. Make sure all the burners and igniters are completley dry, plug unit back into electric outlet. If problem persists,call an authorized repair person as you may need 1 or more igniters replaced.

Make sure the area of the burner base around the spark electrode is clean (use a fine sand paper). The little hole for the gas is open (use a paper clip). You won’t see a flame unless the burner head is on. If this doesn’t help, check the bottom of the spark electrode visually. Make sure the wire is attached to the electrode and is not loose (pull it a little bit.) If the wire or the electrode is damaged, replace it ($25). If not, locate the spark module and switch the connection with another one (they are different colors). If you get flame on the same burner, but not on the other one, replace the spark module ($60). When you work with electrical components, turn the breaker off. When you test, turn it on. Good luck.

Each burner has its own switch to direct current to the igniter. It appears that one of the four switches burned or shorted out, while the other three survived the flood. These switches are replaceable, so that's how I'll fix the problem.

look and see if that electrode is sparking to burnner,,and watch for miss directed sparks from cracked ceramic isulaters..if so change electrodes,,if no sparks change spark module

Sounds like the electric sending unit for the right burners is not working. Do you hear the cliking noise on the right side when you turn the knob to LITE? If not then you need to replace the electric sending unit, they are located under the knobs, they are a smal square box that goes on the switch valve rod, they have tow wires on the side, just unplug and lift, and look for greasse or anything that might interrup contact, you might be able to use the same ones, or just replace with new ones....Good Luck

There is no problem. The click your hearing is the spark module igniting the gas. The clicking will only occur while the know is turned to ignite and will stop after your turn the knog to any other setting.

it would be the automatic ignition on it it may be earthing under the burners
