There may be a thermal protector placed internally within the motor or motor-compressor to protect the motor and motor winding's components from dangerous overheating that can cause motor failure.
This overheating generally occurs when the motor is overloaded, a bearing seizes up, something locked the motor shaft from turning, or the motor simply fails to start properly. A failure to start may be caused by faulty start winding's in a motor.
The thermal protector consists of one or more heat-sensing elements integral with the motor or motor-compressor and an external control device. The thermal protection is in place to turn the motor off when excessive heat is generated within the motor circuitry and keep it from burning up the motor.
These thermal protectors are reset when the motor cools to a safe operating temperature. There is usually a visible red button located on the wiring side of the motor, opposite of the motor shaft, but not always. In some cases, these buttons are reset manually.

Hello. Your carburator is gummed up. Get a can of seafoam fuel additive at the auto parts store and put the recommended amount into the gas. This will clear up the problem in just a few minutes. Joe

Why will a cub cadet lawn mower cut grass a few mi. then stop cutting?

Sounds like the electric PTO clutch is bad and needs to be replaced. The straps within the clutch brake causing it to get out of position and the clutch keeps disengaging. You can buy the clutches on line cheaper but they don't last as long.

Beko wm5121w 5 kg keeps cutting out the electrics can open the door machine starts to fill and eveything cuts out

With the machine unplugged, try disconnecting the heater and then turn the machine back on. If it is still tripping the electrics reconnect the heater and disconnect the motor, then turn on again. Likely one of those is causing the fault

Ryobi rbs3080 motor stops when using

Try to install new blades. I've used 201 Haltbar blades in cutting pine before. Please get the right TPI too. But you may want to check the belt if it's slipping and try a slower feed rate.

Saw stops when i start cutting 1/2 plywood.

If it actually binds and stops the motor...... it sounds like the motor is bad, the bearings are bad, or the blade is on backwards. If the motor keeps spinning, but the blade stops then the gears are bad or the blade bolt is not tight.

Mower won't start

13 to 15 amps electric or battery operated mower may runs slow when cutting thick grass. also recommended not to cut grass when it's wet & need very sharp blade to do the lawn. may overloading it, cutting grass too thick also draws too much power. check house breaker first.
