Pressing the usb receiver but the receiver on my Revo does not press in

Any beeping sounds or flashing Led on the console?

Plug the USB receiver into a USB port on your computer. Press the Connect button on top of the receiver and the button will blink. Press the Connect button on the bottom of the keyboard to activate the wireless connection. Press the Connect button on top of the receiver and the button will blink a few times, then lock when it finds the keyboard.

Here are some specs.

type in run "appwiz.cpl" then press ok then you can see add remove programs try to remove it from there. If you are unable to uninstall it from there then download revo uninstaller from below link. I had the same problem. This mouse came with my Acer Revo which was still under warranty. Tech support basically says to check the obvious (batteries, USB connection, RF interference). Their obviously canned answer goes on to detail a manual reconnect procedure that does not apply to this model. And when all else fails, get a new mouse.
This is what Acer tech support emailed me:
If you are experiencing issues with your wireless mouse not working properly, perform the following steps to troubleshoot the wireless mouse.

1) Ensure that the receiver is 8-inches from other electrical devices. Avoid placing the cordless devices on metallic surfaces.

2) Verify that the USB connector from the receiver is properly plugged into a USB port on the computer. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port to ensure that the USB port is working properly.

3) Remove the batteries and then reinsert the batteries into the mouse, making sure that the battery polarities are correct.

4) Test the batteries to ensure that they still have a charge.

5) Try the manual connect procedure.

Manual connect procedure:

1) Press and release the Connect button on the receiver.

2) Within 30 seconds, press and release the Connect button on the mouse.

If the issue persists, we can replace your computer's wireless mouse.

USB Device Playback Features

Check to make sure batteries are good in transmitter and receiver pack in truck. Also check to make sure antenna is not damaged, and check crystals in transmitter and receiver.

I just bought a used one today and took me a little while to get it to work. Plug the USB receiver in and turn on the PS3. Press the Mode button and the lights will flash repeatedly at a fast rate (it's searching for the receiver). When it finds the USB receiver, the lights will still flash, but slower than before. When they're doing this, press the mode button again, and that should be all that you have to do. You can also plug the receiver in USB slot one, the charge cable in slot 2, and do the steps to set it up to make it work while charging. (I tried taking the receiver out while charging, and the lights started flashing again so I guess the USB receiver has to be in at all times)

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
if that doesn't work try
Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the software program asks you to connect the Mouse Receiver to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Bud's got it. Remember when pressing the button on the mouse and usb receiver that the mouse has to be brought close to the receiver for them to sync.
