My desktop will not boot says to insert disk to start install I don't have the disk

Your reinstall partition might be damaged! Try going into bios and just have the hard drive to boot as #1. If The partition is damaged you will have to get a windows install disk. Call the company and let them know and they "might" send you a disk. Have all your info, serial #, windows key, hopefully you registered your computer and they will have your info!

Tiger woods PGA tour 14 keeps freezing

Install the disk to the harddrive.
If your disk is scratched, borrow a friends disk and install it. Then use your damaged disk to start the game (that is installed on your xbox).

Formatted acer aspire 5736z with windows 7 ultimate and finished but operating system not loading and takes me to recovery screen tried recovery but still takes me there again and again, tried to boot...

Please take a close look at the disk you are using to install "Windows 7 Ultimate". It is definitely a "Recovery Disk" for Windows 7 Ultimate. You cannot install Windows 7 with a recovery disk. Recovery disk always is used to repair corrupt or damaged files of Windows OS and requires that the Operating System is already installed. You need a "Windows 7 Ultimate" Installation disk to install Windows not a recovery disk for Windows.

When disk is installed the Wii Menu comes up but the disk is spinning and does not show the name of the disk in console.

What kind of disk is it? If it's a game then the disk might be damaged, meaning you'd have to get a new one.

It could also mean the disk drive in your Wii is broken. If other game disks work it should be fine, though.

If it's a DVD or a music CD, it's the same story - the disk must be damaged, or it's possible it's a format the Wii can't read, in which case there's nothing you can do.

If it's a disk you burned yourself, your Wii probably refuses to read it. Nintendo has restrictions on what kind of disks the Wii will read to prevent piracy.

Setup error & xp os suported error

You might be having a damaged disk. If you are installing windows XP, replace the installation cd. If you have windows XP already installed, a damage to your hard disk caused the error. You will therefore have to use the installation CD to scan the disk to fix errors, or install windows XP afresh.

DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

your system either does not detect a bootable disk, or the HDD has failed. Disconnect any floppy disk, USB storage devices connected to the computer and make sure the HDD with an OS installed is the primary boot device. If you get the same error, remove and reconnect the hard drive. If all else fails, try repairing or reinstalling Windows. If nothing works, you may need to get a new HDD.

My studio gets a disk read error message every time it starts up and i cant fix it!!! it also says press ctrl+alt+del to restart but it does the same thing!

It seems that the boot sector has been damaged.
re-installing OS may help.

If you have important data on the disk, please install the disk as second disk to another computer and backup your data before installing the os.

I purchased Microsoft Office Professional 2007 - It came with Two disks - The disk #1 loaded just fine - The 2nd disk will not load at all - Can you help - Tom

Hello,

An error might have occurred during the installation process.

You might have to restart the installation process again.

Uninstall the disk one, then start a new installation.

It might also be possible that disk two is damaged, in which case, you might have to get an entirely new copy of Mocrosoft Office 2007.

Thank you for using Fixya,
Kenneth.
