There will be a button on the dashboard somewhere (or next to the gearshift perhaps) that has the winter symbol on it. The reason you are starting in 2nd is that you have selected winter mode (possibly hit it while cleaning?) and to make it safer to take off, 2nd gear is used (less likely to lose traction)

Well, if you have too much data on your hard drive it freezes. If your XBOX freezes at the dashboad, it might mean that you do not have enough RAM (Random Access Memory) to run the operating system and read saves. Games such as Oblivion, Prototype, and other games that cache all your saves often cause freezes. If at any point it runs, make sure you have a memory card inserted and move all of your saves form some games onto it. That will increase the amount of storage on your device and probably free up some RAM. If this does not work, go somewhere like best buy and see if they can fix it.

This model always this problem, usually after about 90,000 miles and the other instruments will eventually follow. There are companies that will repair this for you just use google (instrumentclusters.com) to find them. I was charged 185.00 for the repair... GM wanted over 500.00!

It might be your CATalitic converter is in need of replacement.Its probably clogged up.

Check the wiring in the rear. If this has a tow package,the converter could be bad. If you have a daytime running light system the module could be bad. Also for good measure check the fuses under the hood & in the cab. You'll need a wiring diagram,test light,& multi-meter to go further.

So the password can be reset with a button combination made on your controller, but that sequence can only be given by the people at Microsoft Technical Support. Write down the serial number of the Xbox (find that on a sticker on the back of the machine), and call 1-800-4MYXBOX.

They will likely ask you several questions about who plays it, gamertags, billing address, and so on, but they will then walk you through how to reset the password. I can't give you what that password is, as everyone has a different one depending on the serial number of the console.
