It looks like it ought to be in a TV sales store. "Series 4, clear image panel, 600 hz, homi x3, mega dynamic contrast," in color and with logos, stay on screen for about 15 annoying seconds every five or so minutes or when volume is changed.

Ive Had the same issue with my TV - and its really dissapointing to see it so well documented - obviously this is a design fault- its the last Philips TV im buying :(

User 'rapolley' is absolutely right. One can cycle through the functions to access different options, ie. 'TV', 'Audio', 'DVD', etc. I stumbled upon this solution when I thought my 'Menu' button wasn't working. All I had to do is cycle through the 'Functions' and choose 'Menu' once I get to 'TV'. Thanks!

You know how to reset the tv to its factory setting, I think you are a technician. Second thing you can do is software update.
