It is collecting water, but the shut-off valve is not working when it is full and it is leaking the water onto the floor. Suspect that the lever that is suppose to shut off when full is incomplete. Is there supposed to be a cap that is screwed in to the shut-off valve. Can't see how it can work when the water is allowed to flow through and thus not "bobbing" the lever to lift the shut-off when it is full.
TIA advance for any help on this and how can I download a manual?

I have the same problem. Some kind of clog near the sensor I'd imagine. Where is the sensor for that?
SOURCE: Re LG Dehumidifier, Model LHD
Hi,
The problem is with a sensor...
Change the sensor assembly, Part # 6877A30013M from Appliance Factory Parts in Englewood CO, about $30. Easy to change, plugs into control board, remove old temperature probe by pry T-well open with small screwdriver and then crimping back closed when new sensor is installed, about an hour start to finish, hardest part is getting all the covers off.
The sensor can also be found at RepairClinic.com for about $18.00 plus shipping. Their internal PN is 1462299. There is a new OEM... PN ending in "R" that replaces the old PN ending in "M".

SOURCE: I have an LG 45Ely6,
More than likely, the water drain tubing inside the unit is clogged& the water is not going into the bucket as it should. To solve this, do the following.
1. Turn the Master ON/OFF to OFF & Unplug the unit.
2. Remove the bucket and look up inside the bucket holder. You will see a tube or a hole that drains
the water into the bucket.
3. Using an 18" long plastic Zip Tie or something similar (NO wire coat hangers though) that is
appropriately sized to fit into the hole or tubing. Carefully insert the Zip Tie, until you reach a
bend in the tubing. You will need to gingerly work it past this bend, until the Zip Tie either
bottoms out or you run out of usable Zip Tie. While rotating (twisting) the Zip Tie, slowly remove it.
As you reach the inserted end of the Zip Tie, be prepared for some water to follow.
Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.
