Jenn Air gas wall oven turned off while baking and won't stop beeping about every half hour. If I try to reset bake degree, the bake light goes on, then off and it beeps again. Model # jgw8130ddb

Oven keeps beeping:
As there is no reprogramming of most control boards try this, disconnect the power and wait 30 seconds and then reconnecting the power.

If it's an "F1" fault code this generally implies an electronic oven control (EOC) failure. Disconnect the power, wait 30 seconds or longer and then reapply power. If "F1" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control.
The oven control can be accessed and replaced from the rear of the control panel.

NOTE:Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the console.
If its an F2 ERROR CODE, The F2 error indicates an open circuit in the oven temperature probe.

if Your range has a resettable thermostat in series with the oven temperature probe. If this thermostat opens the clock will display F2 and the oven won't heat.
You can reset the thermostat by pushing in the reset button on top of the thermostat.
Some ovens have an alarm that will beep continuously every six seconds to alert you that the oven is still on. Usually, a kitchen timer that you have set will cause the beeping, but occasionally it can be an error with the oven's settings. If it is the kitchen timer, you can simply push the "Kitchen Timer On/Off" button to end the continuous beeping. If that does not stop the beeping, it is probably beeping due to an error. You can turn the continuous beeping off but you may still need to troubleshoot the issue that is causing the beeping noise.

If you are having oven problems with your GE XL44 oven then you need to do a bit of oven troubleshooting. The first part of that problem is to know what the oven fault codes are trying to tell you.

The codes F0, F1, and F7 could either be a problem with the control or the keypad.
-to see what the problem is cause by, push clear/off on the keypad. Then disconnect the ribbon connector from the control. Wait at least 35 seconds to see if the code comes back. If the code comes back then the control is the problem. If the code does not come back, then replace the key panel.

F2 – This means there has been a problem with the temperature of your oven. It could be a cooling fan or air flow problem. Also could be that the oven got too hot in either a baking mode or a cleaning mode.
-check to make sure the contactor contacts are not welded together. If this happens the oven will always be putting out heat, even if turn off. The thermal switch may also have burnt out. If this switch is open then the fan may be bad, causing the thermal switch to activate. The thermistor that senses oven temperature may also bed bad or have a poor connection somewhere.

F3 and F4 - These are oven temperature sensor codes.
- check the sensor by removing power to the range and then removing the sensor. Check that the sensor reads approximately 1100 Ohms at 72 degrees F. Then check the oven sensor lead to make sure that it is not shorted out. Then check the terminals to make sure that you are getting good contact. If everything checks out okay, then replace the control.

F5 – This is a relay safety circuit failure code
-check the lock circuit for problems. Then check the thermistor for high resistance. Press clear/off on the key pad and reprogram the control. If the code is still there then replace the control.
The F5 code can also result from a short loss of power. If you had a power flicker then reset the control.

FC – This shows a problem with the door lock circuit. Check all the wires and the switches. Check the operation of all the switches.

FD – This is a problem with the meat probe. Check the probe wiring and the receptacle where the probe plugs in at. Resistance on the probe should be 30 to 50K ohms at 72 degrees F.

FF – This is a problem with the door motor safety circuit. To fix this the control will need to be replaced.

F1 error code and constant beeping and oven shuts off.

Hi gwhiz03,

If you are having error code F1 with your Jenn-Air double wall oven this is because you have a defective touch pad or clock (ERC). This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present.

Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).

Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

Hope this helps.

Hi

F1 error means that you have either a bad ERC (clock) or a bad touch pad. To check these please follow these simple instructions:
  1. Disconnect power to stove
  2. Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC).
  3. Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
  4. Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on.
  5. Turn power back on to stove.
  6. Watch for the F1 and listen for the beep.
  7. If you get the F1 and beep, replace the ERC.
  8. If after approx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad...

After a power outage oven will no longer work

F1-E1 - EEPROM Checksum Error - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect.
Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock).
