put in *#7370#......and the phone will ask for the security code which is your phone security code, default 12345, and follow the prompt.......you will have the hard reset-ed 6680....

If its your memory card you want to format goto
"Extras > Memory > Options > Format Mem Card"

If it's your phone memory, there isn't a quick way to do this.
To find out whats on your phone memory goto
"Tools > File Manager > Options > Memory details"
But if you don't want to keep anything on your phone, just goto to Fliemanager and delete everything, you should probably do a factory reset as well.

How to delete data on phone memory full?

Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to reset your phone data.
If you go to Menu, then to Settings, then to Phone Settings, then to Reset, you can click on Reset All Data. This will solve your problem but will also delete all of your data and contacts on your phone.

I have a problem.ican't receive any messages because it says 95% memory full but i have deleted all messages and it still shows the same thing.if i do a master reset will this delete the phone's software...

Hi, if you reset the phone it will only delete data stored.
I think that the memory full might be that because messages stored are stored in two different places, cell phone memory and external SD memory card. you will need to check those out first and see what has not been deleted.

Also Sometimes your data on the phone can also cause the 'message full' . You might not need to reset the phone, just try and delete some data from a away from the phone, i think that might safe you from resetting the phone.

Hope that helps..

I have a E75 handset since Oct 2009.I am facing aproblem since this morning that the phone is hanging ( screen not responding and does not take connection).I removed battery couple of times to check..still...

If your phone not responding, I think you should reset your phone. But before you do this, make sure you have put off your SIM and memory card from the phone, and make a back up of your data.
There are three steps of resetting the phone :
Nokia E75 Soft Reset:
This option restores the .ini files from the ROM.
Does not erase data (photos, videos, documents) nor applications from a third party. Key Code *#7780# (click this combination of keys on the keyboard in the mobile)
Nokia E75 Hard Reset:
This option restores the original operating system from the ROM.
Formats the C: partition and deletes all data including the memory card. Key Code *#7370# (click this combination of keys on the keyboard in the mobile)
You can also achieve Total Reset by pressing and holding down following keys: * + 3 + Green Button (call) immediately after turning the mobile on.
Note: To proceed to reset, the battery must be full and the
mobile device connected to the charger. If during the course of reset, the mobile stop receiving electricity it can ruin the internal flash memory of the mobile device and stop function.

Not open windows of my pocket pc

Hi there,
You need to reset your i-mate Jam, for doing so please follow these instruction
i-Mate JAM soft reset
Resetting Your Pocket PC Phone

You can perform a soft reset or a full reset. During a soft reset, the device is restarted and only some data in opened programs may be lost. However, a full reset turns the battery off, returns the device to its original factory settings, and deletes all programs, files, contacts and other information you have saved to the device. Therefore, it is extremely important to back up data to a storage card or your computer on a regular basis in the event that a full reset has to be performed.

To perform a soft reset

If your Pocket PC Phone responds slowly, stops responding, or freezes, you can soft reset it. A soft reset causes the Pocket PC Phone to restart and re-adjust memory allocation. Unsaved data in any opened applications may be lost. Use the stylus to press and hold the Reset button, as shown on the next page.

To perform a full reset

A full device reset clears memory, deletes all data and restores the Pocket PC Phone to its default settings. Programs installed at the factory remain, erasing all data that you have created and programs you have installed. Press and hold the power button, and then use the stylus to press the soft reset button at the same time. Be sure you have backed up all your data in a SD card or on your PC before performing a full reset.

Phone memory full

I had the same problem. The internal 160mb fills up even though if you use memory manager there's nowhere near that much data. The cure was simple enough, switch on your phone holding the green key, 3 key and * key at the same time - this will perform a total reset and flush the memory. Make sure you backup any data you want to keep to your PC or Micro SD card first - when it's gone, it's gone!

I also removed my 2Gb SD card to be safe when I performed the reset.
