Could be heater leaking, especially if it smells like antifreeze.
Also could be front windshield seal leaking. Or some seal
on the engine side of the fire wall leaking.
probably from a rusted welsh plug in the back of the block or from the head. If it is near the fire wall then be prepared to pull the motor as there is no room there to do the job.
Impellor cap near fire wall ,when you start the vehicle does the window get all foggy, because if it does you need a heater core because that near a fire wall,
look in engine compartment from underneath- if water coming from directly over crank pulley(big one closest to ground) ,yes its the water pump- could also be lower hose(radiator hose closest to ground),if leaking up top - could be other radiator hose- if leaking near fire wall- heater hose- ?where is the water appearing?
If you are trying to tell us you have water leaking somewhere, it could be handy to know where it is collecting. Also are you sure it is water? Could be a liquid the car is supposed to have in it such as gasoline, oil. antifreeze, window cleaner. Generally the only time you have water leaking in a car it is from rain collecting somewhere, being unable to properly drain, or from the A/C system. Often in the summer water will drain pretty much nonstop from the AC system through a drain which usually is in front of the passenger's feet in the fire wall.
MOST OF THE TIME WHEN CAR IS LEAKING ANTIFREEZE.CHECK ALL RADIATOR HOSES AND AROUND THE RADIATOR ON THE SIDES AND FRONT AREA WHERE COOLANT FAN IS.BUT BE CAREFUL DONT PUT HAND NO WHERE AROUND COOLING FAN.BECAUSE IT COULD COME ON WHILE YOUR HAND IS NEAR YOU CAN GET INJURED.ALSO CHECK AROUND WATER PUMP GASKET AND WEEP HOLE FOR LEAKING.IF YOU FIND NO LEAKS THEN YOUR HEAD GASKET LEAKING.CHECK ENGINE OIL IF OIL LOOK LIKE MILK SHAKE YOU HAVE HEAD GASKET LEAK.
I dont know for sure but i would find out what that pulley is, because if its the water pump i bet that its dripping out of that and running down the fire wall and just dripping off this bolt, but ive never heard of a pulley near a fire wall, and what is this bolt there for, what does it go to? can you screw it in any more?
