You need to know which hinge you want to replace. Then you can find the hinge on Ebay cheaper than most manufactures, Also you can search on google search and find many videos with step by step disassembly and re assembly of the hinge.
the only time i have known these hinge pins break is when they seize solid in the hinge due to corrosion. even if you can get just the pin, the corrosion would normally still be in the hinge, and will eventually cause problems with the new pin.
i would just change the whole hinge, you know that there will be no further problems from that hinge.
Grease will not flow into the interior of the hinge joint. Lube with WD-40 first to wet the area, work the door back and forth, then lube with a few drops of engine oil, again work the door. Wipe the hinge dry after a few minutes, and again the next day. Grease the door-position holder, the wipe clean after a few door moves.
The hinge can't be repaired, but it can be replaced. It's feasible to do it yourself if you're tech savy. Just look online for guides that show you how to replace the hinge on any laptop and you should get an idea how to do the replacement step by step for this specific model. Most hinge mechanisms use the same system. I work for Computer Repair NYC and i have to fix this problem a lot, you can get the hinge on ebay.
What does work is this- Superglue the cracked lid as you WILL have one of these if you are reading this post- dont rush, I did about 10 glue applications over a few days to let it set correctly. Next remove the offending hinges. You will see to spring/pressed steel curves in the body of the hinge, Next hack saw one (the outer is easier to get to) of these off, this frees the hinge up very well. Worked for me so give it a try
