it might be because you have a DSi, and your sister has a DS or DS lite
if so you cannot play some games because DSi are region locked, basically an US DSi can only play US games, a japanese DSi can only play japanese games etc etc,
DS and DS lite are not region locked and can play any game
Yes all Nintendo DS games will work on the Nintendo DSI. However unlike the original Nintendo DS or DS lite the DSi will not play Gameboy advance games. If this help please rate me. I do not get paid for this but like to help people.
"The immediate successor to the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DSi,
is region-locked, but only in terms of its downloadable games. Physical
DS game carts will play on it regardless of region of origin (DSi-only
and even DSi-enhanced games are region-locked though)."
it seems the problem is with the R4 card not the memory card. take game out make sure connections going into the ds are good. try blowing it out like old school nintendo. i have a r4 with my ds lite and sometimes it wont work i have to try a couple times
Try updating your software in your dsi? Keep in mind that AC was intended for ds not dsi so there is some bugs. Just like how AR(action ready codes) wont work for dsi, it just wasn't made for dsi.
solution? buy a ds? gamestop sell used ds for 70ish dollars or so.
