Hi, You can change the Router's Firewall Settings OR Disable the Firewall completely (not recommended) and unblock the sites etc. Follow the procedure below: - Access the Router's Web Interface by typing the IP Address of the router (192.168.1.1) in the browser address bar and press enter. This would ask you for the User name and password. Default settings are: The user name is admin The password is admin After you login successfully, click Firewall. This would show the available options on the right side of the window, from where you can setup as required.
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya! CreativeTECH
If you are connected to it wireless or getting a wired connection. go to start>Run > then type cmd type ipconfig the default gateway is the ip you need to put into your web browser to access the router. From this point i do not know the default password for this brand.
Login to the default router config page from your desktop pc. This is usually plugged straight into the router via a network cable. Go to http://192.168.1.1 in w web browser. Default login is usally "Admin/Admin" or "Admin/Password" keep trying different combos.
You may also need to press the "Reset" button on the back of the router.
Yes - the reset button will clear the stored login information and reset your router to factory default. Make sure you hold that button for about 15-20 seconds before you release it. After you did this, you can access your router again via the default IP address of 192.168.1.1
The default username and password for your Blitzz BWA711 router are both "admin".
Don't forget that all your personal settings will be erased as well (wireless security, port forwarding etc.)
This is what I did after entering all that information again: I went to each screen and took a snapshot of that window (Press ALT+PrintScreen). This screenshot I copied into a Word document and repeated these steps with all important windows. Now I have a little "manual" in case I have to reset my router again and can't remember my "fancy" settings.
If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.
Using your wired pc, open Internet Explorer and type http://192.168.1.1 and enter. You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your username and password now.
By default both the username and password are admin. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.Click on WIRELESS LAN tab. You should see there the Wireless Network Mode. Change it to your desired mode and also the wireless channel you can change it there. Save the changes you made. That's should do it. Hope that helps!
