Schedule shutdown time - D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless Router

To make your computer shutdown at a particular time, type taskschd.msc is start search and hit Enter to open the Task Scheduler. In the right panel, click on Create Basic Task. Give it name and a description if you wish and click Next. When asked When do you want the task to start, select One time.

Possible reasons :
1) I think you did not recharge it,
Or
2) Your battery is not properly fixed and it is moved from its place.
or
3) It is scheduled to shut down on a particular time. Check the shutdown time in your mobile options or settings.

Hi Good day!!if you are using windows go to command prompt. press windows logo key + r to display run dialog. type cmd and click ok. in the command prompt type the following commands and press enter: shutdown.exe -s -f -t 0
-s = shutdown
-f = force shutdown closing all programs
-t = time in millisecond
0 = now you can change this no. to schedule your shutdown.

for ubuntu open terminal and type -sudo shutdown 0 you can change the 0 if you want.

I would check the energy saver settings under system preferences and see if it is set to go to sleep after a period of time. Also check the schedule button under energy settings to see if there is a scheduled sleep setup. Hope this helps

Hold the power button down for about five or six seconds, it will shut down then. If it keeps doing this, you need to look at what is running in the background that is preventing you from shutting down via the menu.

Click START
click RUN
type in msconfig
take a look at what is scheduled to load at startup and then try to decide if you really need to have that application on all of the time. BE CAREFUL. If you don't recognize an entry, leave it alone until you can learn what it is.

1. create a new text file by opening notepad. 2. paste the following in the text file:
echo off shutdown.exe -r -t 00
3. save the text file but change the .txt file extention to .bat. 4. under control panel, open task scheduler. 5. schedule a new task to run your new .bat file, whenevr the pc should be shut down.

if you want to shutdown your laptop automatically go to power option from control panel and from there you can schedule the time after using how many minute or hour you would like to automatically shutdown your laptop. Try it !! Good luck.

Go to Start >> Run type CMD and click Ok
in the command window
just use the AT command:
AT 9:00 SHUTDOWN -f

the schedule service must be running while using the AT command.

Go to Control Panel -> Scheduled Tasks

Create a new task for this : C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe

Use a macro utility such as Macro Express. Here you can basically tell the computer to do anything you want.
