SOURCE: how do i change my internal memory settings for LG optimus e400?

Internal memory is different than SD card memory. You only have 800MB free on your phone's harddrive, you still have 1GB of space unused on your SD card. Today's apps are large, some are even 1GB big! I would go and purchase at least a 16GB card for your phone. They are around 10 bucks now a days. Then on your phone, go to your settings and select the big apps, there should be an option to move them over to the SD card.

Cell phone has insufficient storage to download app 6ya. Need answer for R472 Zenith radio. Can someone help?

If your phone has provision for an SD card, then, you just might be in luck.

Step 1:
Insert an SD card and confirm that your phone can truly see it and in turn access it.

Step 2:
Navigate to Settings, then click on Apps/Applications
Once this opens up, scroll to identify app you downloaded and installed on your phone; especially the ones with high ~Mb sizes.

Step 3:
Select or click on one of these apps. A page opens where you'd notice app info
**Force stop
**Uninstall
**Clear app data
**Move to storage/Move to SD card

Step 4:
Click on "Move to SD card/Move to Storage"

Do this for every app you installed and get them transferred to the SD card.

This will free up internal memory space so you can install new apps on your phone.

Why Does my Phone Stop Downloading Aps or Updates and Saying Not Enough Space on my Phone despite having 14GB Free on the SD Card?

Downloads and such are not going to SD card. They can be moved to SD card later. You should move some stuff to SD card to free up memory.

How do i change memory card to default storage samsung gt-s3653?

On my phone, it's done by going to Settings > Memory settings > Default memory. Pick the app that you want to store things on memory card. If you want your phone to download automatically on memory card (as you do), you should change WAP download default memory. I don't know about your phone, but I guess it's like that.

My downloaded games on the android market was placed on the phone memory not on the sd card

So that the icon can be place at the phone screen. I't is o.k to do so. I't is the phone default. To make the apps more working. In this unit your SD card is more on storage file's like picture, music so on and so fort. except installed apps. you can download apps save it in SD but after installing, it will automatically save at the phone memory. If your phone memory is full? you have to uninstall some of the other apps.
