You need to find right drivers for your laptop .
search on google as " windows drivers for acer travel mate 5520 " if you do not know how to install drivers let me know .
scan you system with an anit virus as well

use the above link and download the audio driver by selecting note book then extensa then model#5510, then download the audio driver and install it.
it will also work on 5520.

hi..here the a simple way if u want to install your printer drivers..if u have a USB flash drive try to make a copy a installer driver or exe from your cd driver to USB flash drive then install the driver to the laptop..thanks and good luck to you..^_^

sounds like your printer cd installation disc is damaged or corrupt try going to the printer manufacturers website and download you printer driver and software direct from there website

Check if the drivers of your bluetooth device are installed in your computer

From what I've read, this is a bug with Vista.

There are two (2) versions of the Acer TravelMate 5520; TM5520-5313 (LX.TKU0Z.001) & TM5520-5678 (LX.TKU0Z.003).

There are two (2) possible ways you can get Recovery CDs:
1. Purchase from Acer here. You would need your 22 character Serial Number or the SNID which is 11 chars.;
2. Borrow from a friend with identical model, copy and burn to CD(s).

Alternately, you can install Windows Vista using an OEM CD (which again can be borrowed). You need to use the Windows key normally found in a sticker underneath the laptop. Thereafter, you need to download from the Acer website the appropriate drivers and install. You would need to select your Product Line, the Product itself and eventually the driver(s) that you need.
