    I found a Samsung txg2045 that works nicely. The only problem is that it didn't come with remote and manual. I need to switch from TV to VIDEO to use is my DVD player. Does anyone know how can I do this?

SOURCE: I can't switch to aux/video without my remote.

not really sure about this but if you put a disk in then run auto scan for your channels,long shot but worth a try.

Try to go below channel 2 or above 125 often that is where you will find the video input .

some tv do that changing the channels.

in the control panels in the tv where r the buttons for change channel there must be video button, push it and there you go.

Well see if there is a video button on the front part of the tv then if not I would return it and buy a tv from a reputable seller then or you can buy a remote for the tv from an electronics store and have to setup the remote so that it can work for the tv.

How do you put the tv in game mode without a remote
Hi,

Follow the steps below to switch your TV to game mode without using the remote:

1. Connect the game system to the TV using the AUDIO/VIDEO inputs on the FRONT of the TV.
2. Switch the game system on.
3. Press the "MENU" button on the front of the TV
4. Use the "CH" UP/DOWN buttons on the TV to highlight the "PICTURE" option. This is the first option so should already be highlighted.
5. Press the "VOL UP" button to select this option
6. Use the "CH" UP/DOWN buttons on the TV to highlight the "GAME MODE" option. This is the first option so should already be highlighted.
7. Press the "VOL UP" button to change the GAME MODE setting to "ON"

The TV should automatically switch to GAME MODE if you are using the inputs on the front of the TV.

8. Press "MENU" to exit and play your games.

On the control panel of your television you will find the input button, depending on the type of hook-up you are using for your video connection to the television.You must switch the modes with the onscreen display until you find your type of connection. Same problem, Used Radio Shack remote 15-100. Program remote. (search through codes to shut off tv). Then live tv button brings up p-i-p, then zero, zero activates video mode, and then swap on remote.

Not able to get to tv-video on Toshiba 27A45
For TV video switching change program (-) button till you get 1 or 0. After 1 or 0 again press program (-) button you get video mode. Or try any other option in menu features to change video mode. I hope the above information is helpful to you.
