Can i reset the router back to the default setting




  1. Locate the reset hole on the router. The button will be on the back or side of the router.

  2. Use a paperclip (or similar) to press and hold in the reset button for 10 seconds.
  3. Remove the paperclip.

Cant log on to router

If you have forgotten your router's password, please follow the instructions below to resolve your issue.

The router can be set to factory default by pressing the Reset button of the router and resetting through the router's web-based setup page. Pressing the Reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds will reset your router to its factory default settings. Any settings on the router will be erased and the router's IP address will become "192.168.1.1," the username is still blank, and the password will be "admin."

It is easy to Reset Router than to locate its User name and password,
To reset your router, first of all switch on your router and press its reset button for 10 seconds. While with pressed reset button switch off power of router than after 5 seconds release the reset button. Now your router is reset to its default position.
At default its user name and password are " admin " .
For browsing to router site type http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.2.1 in your browser address bar.Enter by using admin as user name and password.

Okay,i only option is to reset the router to its factory settings.
Please follow the steps to reset the router.
