How do I clear phone of a new voice mail message?

You apparently have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

We have an older Vodavi Starplus STS phone system and our outgoing message loops so that customers can't leave a message. They are given the option to leave a message using the general mailbox or one...

you need to go in to system admin of the phone system, the redo the 440 feature. for proper instructions on this, you might need the admin manual. you may post back for further help if this doesn't get you set. thanks

How do i chck voicemail from a diffrent phone onmy uniden 3080

Hello,
When you configure your phone, you also configure remote access. There is a code (one set by default at factory, or the one you chose when configuring it). To hear your messages when away, you call you number and wait for the machine to answee (welcome message). When invited to leave message, enter your code and listen to instructions. One menu item will ceratinly enable you to hear your messages. If you call often your phone long distance, you might find it intersting to activate toll saver option: With toll saver phone answers after 2 rings if there are new messages. If it does not answer after 2 rings there are no new messages and you hang up with no communication fees to pay.

Hope it helps.

How do I clear the memory on my phone?

While the unit is in ready-to-answer mode, press and hold DELETE until the unit announces, "Messages erased."
• New messages can not be erased in this way. To erase new messages, play them then press DELETE during play back.

Here is a useful link that may help you, it is the instruction manual for your phone:

NEC DTH16D-1 flashing light

I do not deal with your system but I see similar problems in other phone systems. This MAY be what is happening...

The message light can be a voice mail indicator OR someone on another phone in the building can leave you an intercom message (no voice system used or required). In those cases you need to return the message by pressing the MSG button, this should make the phone ring that left you the message in the first place. That phone needs to be answered to return the message and cause your light to stop flashing.
