Tv gives message please scan channels - JVC 42 in. LCD TV

We are going to be giving a general overview of LCD TV Repair in this video ... now recently started showing message "Do not turn off scan" and never ends.

Your STB has to be commanded to conduct a channel auto scan to identify and store channels it is receiving.

Set the TV to channel 3

tv may have detected new channels or radio authority may have changed the channel frequencies. go into the tv setup and auto scan dtv channels.
A make and model number may yield a more accurate answer than this .

try going to settings ,menu then hit present or auto scan

Refer its user manual for details.
Electro help

1st click the "mode" button on the TV or remote then use the vol. up and down buttons to scroll around until you get to DTV mode then press "enter" on the remote you should get a message "please run channel auto scan" . click "Menu" on the remote the "Picture" screen will come up, keep clicking the vol. up button to scroll past "Audio" then "Setup" then to "Channel" then use the CH up or down buttons to scroll to "Air" click OK , then use the CH down button to scroll to "Scan all channels" then click the vol. up button. it then should start scanning, FYI you have to be fast!

for some reason it is not seeing you cable signal. you will need to make sure you have it set up for cable and not air. check your input options, like tv/av/hdmi/ ect hope this helps

If you reinstall the driver and get the message "Driver not digitally signed", you should be able to click on "Continue anyway". Please try this first.
