I tried to set up my kids new leappad and got all the way to the free app page, hooked it to LeapFrog Connect and tried to sync after which it told me that it wasn't able to sync and check the battery, check the usb cord. I tried to turn on the LeapPad Ultra and it was telling me to set up again but it only lets me go up to the Register kids page and when I hit "next" nothing happens. I have tried to connect again but it keeps telling me to check the battery and cord so I keep charging it and have tried different usb cords too. Any ideas?
SOURCE: Won't turn on
Did you leave it on for the week while you were gone? if so you may have built up **** on the vents of the wii and it will automatically shutdown and not come back on untill it's clear to avoid overheating. Make sure none of your wires are exposed or frayed cuz this will make it shut down too. and I know it's dumb but something the dumbest things can get ya, check that the wall outlet works by plugging lamp into it or something cuz i've had this happen to me. Oh and check and make sure all wires are connected very well
SOURCE: psp wont charge, no usb. battery empty after last game.
believe it or not, if the psp works you can play it with out a battery using thee charger. Try that and see if it works at all. If it does then you may need to replace your battery, or leav it and let it charge for about 5-6 hours.
If it's 4 months old and it does not work at all you should still be under your manufacturer's warranty.

SOURCE: I purchased Spike the Ultra
I have a similar problem. My two year old Spike only works for about 1 second after startup, then shuts down with the two pairs of lights nearest his head blinking a few times. I replaced the batteries (main and remote) with no improvement. Called tech and they said the blinking lights indicated a "motor stall" and that I should shake him to reset a position switch. I did that and now he works for 3-5 seconds then shuts off.
