Wii won't power up

Worked fine two days ago. Wii box won't turn on, no lights. Unplugged everything. Replugged. No help. Everything else plugged into the power strip and the outlet is working fine. Have had big storms for past few days with power flickering and surging. Wii box is plugged into surge protector. No other applicances showing any effects.

Leave the wii power brick unplugged from the wall socket for 15 min then try to plug it back in. This worked for me.

Wii won't turn on.

Reset the AC adapter by following steps below.

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the
Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. After you've waited a full 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter back in on both ends and check to see if the power light comes on.

After unplugging the cords from the back of the wii to get them out of the way, and then immediately plugging them back in last Thursday, today is the first day I have turned on the wii since then and I...

If you can, borrow an AV cable from a friend, yours may be bad. If not then you may want to send it in for repair. A good place is www.videogame911.com. They are really fast with repairs and save the memory on the wii.

Our Wii was plugged in last night, this morning there is no power, we have unplugged everything and replugged back in, still no power. What do I do?

Hi there,
How long did you unplug the Wii from the power supply? As to reset the power adapter it needs to be unplugged from the power for a full 2 minutes before plugging it back in and trying to power up the Wii. (This resets the circuit breaker in the Wii power supply)
Cheers

Wii will not receive power

This has happened to me, what you need to do is remove the power cord from both the wii and wall outlet, and wait a few minutes while the converter box on the cord resets itself. I know it sounds strange, but it works.

Power Outage & Now Wii Won't Power Up...

When this same thing happened to me, I unplugged the Wii power supply from the wall (not just from the back of the Wii) and let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes. When I plugged it back in, everything was fine.

Wii system not powering up

There was a power surge which caused my WII to not power on anymore.
Unplugging the power adaptor fromt he wall for 5 minutes and then plugging it back in
fixed the problem.

Our Wii has no power no light no nothing

Okay, I had this problem also, it made me freak out, considering it was only 1 week old! what I did, and it worked, is
1. unplug every wire connected to the system (wires to/from wall, to sensor bar, and to/from TV)
2. unplug every other thing connected to it (i.e. memory cards, older controlers, etc...)
3. let it stand off in the dark for a couple of minutes (I reccomend 5 minutes or so)
4. plug the wires back in
5. turn it on
6. put anything else back in (i.e. the memory card)

If that doesn't work, or if this keeps happening, I reccomend bringing it back to the place you bought it (Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc)
, b/c they can give you a new one, or your money back. However, the warrenty could expire, or not even exist if you bought it online, or if you've had it too long.

I hope I helped you!

Wii / No Power

or you can remove all of the plugs from the console: AC, remote sensor, AV. This is important: You must also unplug the AC from the electrical outlet. Then wait 45 seconds, then plug the AC adapter back into the wall and your console. Power On.
