Epson r300 - banding problems on print out

I have added a Cis to my r300. Everything is fine until I print with it and then see faint lines across my picture. No matter what quality I print in.

The head cleaning print out is fine, these just show up on the images I print.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nozzle check is fine? I am not sure. Check again. There is transverse and vertical lines. Is it perfect? Turn off printer, move head to center, put wet tissue with hot water at head cleaning mech. (pad). move head to parking position, wait for 15 minutes, repeat for 3 times. Check nozzle.

Turn off printer when it's move to center. Just unplug power.

In these situation you can try these procedure.
Take a empty cis . pour it with amonia solution ( water40% + amonia60%). set th CIS and run head clean. 2/3 times. put off Cis. set original cartrige/ CIS with ink. Run head clean.1/2 times. print a nozzle cheak. I Think you may relive from your problem.
Thank you.

You need to perform a head clean. On the printer use the down arrow until you get to "More Options" and press OK. Using the down key again scroll down to head cleaning perss OK twice. After cleaning you can print a nozzle test page by pressing stop.

Epson Stylus r220 prints with white lines... i installed a CIS and it worked fine for about 6 months, now i'm getting prints with white lines (or fine spots) i tried nozzle check, which comes out good......

Nozzle check must perfect for perfect output. There are tranversal lines at vertical straight lines that represent same point of head micro piezo. If tranversal lines no clog at all, but vertical straight lines not perfectly straight, the result not good (like horizontal white banding). Check it? Head aligment is for vertical banding. If your result is horizontal banding, you don't need to realign head. It's caused by some residual at the output of head sprayer. So, the spray of ink not straight to paper. Try to print with photo/best photo.

Red and blue lines across printouts

open printing preferences and click on maintenance. Run the print head alignment utility. Sometimes this will remove the horizontal banding. I had this same problem and had to uninstall the printer and reinstall just like it was new, running the alignment feature before it was corrected. Worked ok for a few days then started again. I assumed that the printhead is bad. To costly to repair and bought a new printer.

My epson and my computer wont talk to each other

Check to see if you have the printer selected as the default printer. You can select the correct printer by going to the control panel to see if it's showing as default.

Faint one inch wide line appears at the same time, every time.

We've seen this problem in our shop. The document is "timing out" and the gap is where it restarts. You have to set the print manager to wait to print until the document is finished processing. Any large print will do the same thing. Try "pausing" the printer on your computer, then execute the "print" command in Photoshop, then go back to the printer control panel and "un-pausing" the printer.

Replace cartridge message with CIS that has been working fine.

Same problem with my R200. In reading solutions across net, said to use genuine Epson yellow and after finished, save chip from it to use on other non-genuine yellow. As soon as I put the genuine Epson yellow in, the problem went away.
