FM Tuner plays fine. No audio or video output from any other devices.

It could be HDMI input or output problem. Anyway, only Tuner works.

Can't seem to get the av and hdmi inputs to work ?n my pioneer pdp 507xd plasma

Make sure the cable is plugged into input 5 if your tv is on input 5. Make sure that you don't need to be on the AV input. I suggest using a hdmi cable also to bring the resolution up to 1080p. Make sure the wire isn't shorted also.

My dog chewed the power cord on my ps3 while it was on and it triped the breaker in my house ,i got a new power cord but now the ps3 powers up but cant get the hdmi cable to work to tv

It may be possible that he has caused a power outage that disabled your HDMI output. It is a common problem, both HDMI and AV outputs will go out.

Can you get a display with AV cords (if you haven't tried, get them ready)
You may be faced with a problem that will cause you to use AV or Component cables. (recommended if HDMI output is out)

Try to reset your settings.
Plug in both AV and HDMI cables.

Press and hold the power button until the systems shuts off. (wait 2 seconds)

Press and hold the power button again until you here 3 beeps. Let go. Make sure that you are switching your TV from HDMI to AV and vice versa.

It should ask you to connect your controller via usb and press the PS button in

the middle of your controller. There will be a menu with 6 options.

Try 1.

If you are able to get the AV cables to work with this method, try setting your HDMI up as you did before.

If you cannot get HDMI to work, then your output has gone out. You must use the AV/Component cables.

If you get no display at all but the system appears to be responding normally (outside of the display) then:

You have what is commonly known as the "Green light of Death."

It is when your system powers on and acts normally but no display. Your GPU (graphics chip) has cracked or become damaged and will need to be sent in to SONY. You can try a 3rd party technician, but this repair has a very very low success rate.

It recognizes that there is an HDMI plugged in but when the television is set to the HDMI plug that is correct I have no picture and/or sound

Once the ps3 is set to use the av output it turns the hdmi output off so you need to go into the display settings menu select the connection/resolution and then scroll up to the hdmi output then press right to enable it.

Hopefully the tv should then find the hdmi connection.

You could also try as has already been suggested turning the ps3 off then holding the power button down on restart until it beeps, approx 5-10secs. This should reset the output. I would recommend unplugging the av output so the ps3 is forced to use the hdmi cable, make sure this is plugged in to both the tv and the ps3 first.

No hdmi funktion to my new LED TV.

Most likely the output from the Pioneer is not compatible with the TV.
Try resetting the output by holding Stop (on the pioneers front) and press the Open/close button. This will reset the output signal. Also, if the harddrive in the Pioneer is defect, the HDMI signal will not output.

My ps3 has no picture or sound...

if there's absolutely nothing on the TV screen, then most probably the video output is different then the cables you are using (eg: video output HD and you are using AV cables). Are you sure your TV is set correctly? like using HD cable you have to choose HDMI or AV cable choose AV. Anyway, When the PS3 is on, turn it off by pressing and holding the power button on the front (so the light turns red) you will hear beep sound ( I can't remember how many but not once). This should reset the Video output to AV. Swithch to AV cables (if you're using HD). Usually if the system is set to AV output and you switch to HDMI cables, the system recognizes that and swithches to HD output. But if it's set to HD output and you are using AV cables, it doesn't switch back; that is what my system does.
