Mounting instructions are in with the setup instruction for the TV or TV Stand. Did a mount come with the stand, or is it a separate add on to the stand? In some cases TV Mounts do come as an option?

Blank Screen

I had this problem on my 42" Philips. Just got it yesterday and worked fine on the tv stand. As soon as I mounted the TV to the wall via wall mount system, I had the exact same issue you did. Figured it out today.

The wall mount was putting pressure against the center of the back of the tv (tv set had a slightly rounded back plate, and the mount was a flat plate). As soon as I put spacers (part of the wall mount hardware set) between the wall mount braket and the tv so there was no contact except at the mounting holes, the tv worked fine.

My theory is the pressure pushed the tv back plate against some board components which caused them to overheat (no air flow); or put pressure on internal connectors. I dont know.

Hope this helps, may not apply to your situation.

Screen goes blank after about 10 or 15 minutes. There's still sound coming through. Picture comes back on if you turn the tv off & back on again. Any suggestions? (Sansui HDLCD2200 LCD TV) Thanks.

Screen goes blank after 2 minutes

Your best bet is to take the back off and look if there are and bulged capacitors on the power supply first, also look for cold solder joints on the 24 volt rail that goes to the HV inverter board. If both seem to be ok then you could have a inverter transformer going bad on the inverter board. Let me know how you do>
