They told me that they will erect a tower in 18 months from now. But they are able to deduct my money that is 299 every month since July last year. In order to use internet I had to buy 8ta airtime. It unfair, to buy airtime from other network yet I have a contract with vodacom buy unable to use it. Please help me. Your assistance in this regard will be highly appreciated. Yours sincerely with a broken heart. Patrick Ngubeni

This is a legal problem. You need to write to their Customer Service department stating what you are supposed to be getting for your payments and what you are not. If you are using the internet you may onlt be entitled to a part refund, otherwise ask for a full refund until the proper supply starts.
Keep a copy of any letters you send or eceive, and dates and times and notes of any phone calls.
Even better if you joined Which? magazine as they have a free legal service

SOURCE: Will not heat the food.

I it is due to the defective magnetron in the oven. You need to replace the part.

63792 reports F2 error as well

An F2 error on these is a shorted keypad (either the main keypad or the transparent one in front of the tocuh screen). In some cases, this is a pretty easy do-it-yourself repair. Please contact me for an estimate and DIY tips.

NOTE: The FixYa system is not currently notifying me when folks reply to my posts, so please contact me directly for FREE help & do-it-yourself advice.

Beeps at night and not work at Day !

That last "solution" must have come from a bored student on early Christmas break. I've reported it as abuse of the system.

Solution

You have a failed membrane keypad.

Due to expansion and contraction at different temperatures, it is still intermittent, but it may fail "hard" and not work at all.

This can be a dangerous fire risk if it should begin to run by itself while unattended, so I'd leave the door open or leave it unplugged until it is repaired.

If you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.

You can find Panasonic parts distributors in Canada here.

If you would like to have us do this repair for you, we do that for $39.95 plus part costs, which in this case would run about $60 if we can get the proper version keypad.

Since you're in Canada, there would be an extra shipping charge of $15 if we do the work.

If you would prefer to have a local Canadian servicer handle it for you, you can find an authorized Panasonic servicer here.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your model number) for more information & help.

Often I have to hit the open panel several times to open the DMT24203 purchased in January of this year. It started a couple of weeks ago . Would appreciate any info Patricia Kuhl

This is usually due to grease buildup, or a worn or broken door open button or door open lever.

Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

The burning smell is usually a bad high voltage transformer, but it may possibly be a bad magnetron.

You should have a 5-year warranty on the magnetron.

Short life of appliance bulb,40 w clear. ordering code bc40tbn 130v soft light last atleast 1 year bright light last atleast 2 years. mine lasted less than 6 weeks,, are they garunteed ??? William...

When I hear of light bulbs not lasting, the first thing I suggest is to measure the voltage level of your power line at a few sockets in the home. They should measure 110-125V AC.

Measuring between ground and the larger terminal of the outlet should be virtually zero volts, and from ground to the smaller terminal should be 110-125V AC.

If these readings are off, please reply back with details. In some cases, a loose neutral can occur, causing voltages to vary at dangerous levels.

OTHERWISE, I would suggest making sure you get good quality bulbs. Sadly, since we handed over our manufacturing base to China, the products we get in return are barely adequate.

I would visit a home center like Lowe's or Home Depot (as opposed to a grocery store or dollar store or Wal-Mart) and see if they have more rugged bulbs. You're likely to find good ones with guarantees.
