Hi
You've made a great mistake indeed. Contact any service technician. With some sets, there will be a protection fuse [over voltage protection]. If your set have been included this protection device, your luck. If not, you might have to replace the power supply section to this device.

How long will a 28v drill last with a 36v battery

about 1 minute before it burns out
28 volts require 28 volt power supply and just like a 110volt connected to 220 volts the end result is the same -- up, up in a puff of smoke

Worrng fully supply 220 volt in xerox 7345 110v now this machine is showing error like 009-383,380,382 and after NVM reset one or two copy diagonal bar type print come out and then code is come -

The last time I looked at one of these power supplies I'm sure you had to move over a small sheet metal cover but putting 110volt onto a 220 volt power supply shouldn't cause a problem the other way probably would. However as you seam to get prints out of the machine I don't think you have a power supply problem.
Further investigation needed.
Good Luck.

How do I use this adapter in the US with 220 voltage

is it an 220volt ac - dc adapter you could buy a 110V AC to DC adapter with the same DC Voltage and current rating
or you could buy a 110V to 220 Volt adapter

be careful with switch settings

please be aware if timing is required or electrical motors this could be a problem as usa is 60Hz and your appliciance may be designed to run at 50 Hz frequency
there are devices that can convert freq from 60hz to 50 hz

Our window AC unit stopped suddenly. Completely dead. The outlet has power. It's a 220V unit. LG window AC LW2510ER Any advise what it could be? Does it shut down when it's 100F outside? Thanks...

No - the outside temperature will not shut the AC down.
You say the outlet has power? Does it have the needed 220 volts? Most of the time 220 volts is on one switch, (that operates both 110 volt legs of power at the same time). - but sometimes each leg is on a separate breaker and if "one leg" trips you will still have power at the outlet (110 volts) but you won't have the needed 220 volts. While this is not likely - it is possible - so I would want to test the outlet with a voltage tester and determine the voltage. You might try checking in your breaker box and seeing if another breaker (110volt) is tripped. The same thing applies if you are dealing with fuses instead of breakers - determine the voltage at the outlet - and if you don't have 220 and only have 110 then look for a blown fuse or as I said above - a breaker tripped.
If you do have 220 at the outlet and nothing is running - I would be looking for an inline fuse of some sort within in the unit. Many of the newer units have them and they are usually easy to spot and all you have to do is to unscrew the fuse holder and replace the blown fuse. Be sure to have the power off when handling fuses.
Note: Be aware that while breakers/fuses can trip and blow without a serious problem going on - they (blown fuses/tripped breakers) are usually a sign of something significantly wrong with the unit.
Good Luck!

I am trying to figure out if I can plug my new router into this 220Volt plug or do I have to plug it up to the transformer I was given since I live in south korea

Hi,

Please see on the adapter of the router if the range of voltage is from 110 to 220. If it is then it is called auto-volt. The adapter can adapt whether 220 or 110. You can directly connect it to any socket.

If it is not auto-volt then you must use a step down transformer to use it.

Thanks.

Plugged a 110 volt kenwood receiver accidentally to 220 volts

Considering 220 and 110 systems have different receptacles, you worked at doing this.
Since it is already inoperable, you may as well remove the housing and inspect the guts. If you see burned traces or boards, don't bother to have it repaired.
If you see a fuse in a clip, you might replace it once, two would be the waste of the second fuse.
