The last cycle seems to have completed without any problem. Dishes were clean, machine appears to have emptied as usual. Salt and rinse aid filled yesterday. Filters removed and cleaned, there is about 2 inches of (dirty) water in the sump at the very bottom which is only visible once the filters are removed, not sure if this is always there or not? If the power is turned on, ALL the lights above the cycle buttons and the time delay button flash repeatedly. Using the reset makes no difference. None of the end of cycle or other indicator lights to the right are flashing. There is no beeping. Any help much appreciated!!

It is most likely to be the wash pump leaking underneath, the float switch lies underneath the dishwasher, if you tip it back slightly you will probably find that water will leak out, that will prove that it is leaking and it will probably work a couple of times after this but it isn't the answer i'm afraid, a wash pump is not really the sort of thing you should tackle yourself.

#3 (second and third button down on far left side) for 2 seconds should
reset it. It took some 15 minutes however before the dishwasher reset!

Hello,
What this problem is pointing to, is that the washer have develop a power problem function that will need to be resolve your self as do it your self offer below are the instructions. to follow.
A dishwasher usually operates without any problems. But, ifyour dishwasher won't start, it's easy to get frustrated and think that youneed a new unit. Oftentimes, however, you can easily fix this problem withoutthe assistance of a repair person. You can save money and avoid waiting for aservice technician to repair your dishwasher.
Electricity.
If your dishwasher won't start, see if the power cord fits snugly into theoutlet. Do not use an extension cord. Plug the dishwasher directly into thewall. Test the outlet with another appliance, and see if it's actually live.Check your home circuit breaker or fuses. Turn on the circuit breaker if an appliancehas tripped it. Examine the fuses, and change out any ones that are black orhave broken wires. If your power is turned off, contact your electricitycompany.
Water/Control Panel
You must turn the water shutoff valve to the "On" position. Cleanthe water inlet hoses and filters if they are clogged. Straighten the hose ifit's kinked, or replace it if it's crushed. Depending on your model, you canlock your control panel. Unlock the control panel, or reboot it if you justexperienced a power outage.
Wiring
Check the internal wiring if the dishwasher isn't powering on. Unplug thedishwasher from the power source, and remove the front panel. Examine thewires, especially the main wiring connection. This connection often burns outon older dishwashers. Check the wiring to the timer and the door switch, andthe wiring that runs from the door to the base of the dishwasher. Replace anywires that are corroded or broken. Check the door switch, which is four wires connectedvia a plastic housing. Get a new door switch if any of the wires are burnt out.You probably have to get this part from an authorized parts supplier or themanufacturer.
Door/Motor
You must completely close the dishwasher door for the cycle to start. If youopened the door in the middle of a cycle, push the door closed and press the"Start/Resume" button to restart the cycle. If the door isn'tclosing, check the door gaskets/seals, and clean them if they are dirty. If thegaskets or seals are cracked or falling off, replace them. Your motor may pausebetween different wash cycles. If the motor doesn't restart, it's overloaded.Allow up to 30 minutes for the motor to reset, and then restart the cycle. Ifthe motor is dead, contact a service technician.Thanks.
