I purchased a tiny Philips TV/VCR Model # cc132at02 and there was no remote. I have a ProScan Universal Remote the Model # 20559100. The TV is in VCR mode and I want it in TV mode so I want to program the remote to the TV so I can change back and forth from TV to VCR. What is the Philips TV code and How do I program the remote? We have tried to access the menu, it does not come up, put in new batteries, tried repeated pushing of the tv/vcr button, pressed tv then power. This is an orignial remote to the tv?Not a universal remote wright?Yes,it can't be reprograms,only universal remote can be reprogramed,by re entering the tv codes.Take the battery out like 24 hrs put it back in the remote should reset itself.Should work now,not then the remote CPU is dead.Sorry the remote is junk now.Try webste like Remotes.com to buy an exact to the original remote.

I did solve my problem with some diligence. The instructions from Verizon were correct. I realized that there are two buttons on the Verizon universal remote that look alike - the "play" arrow and the "fast forward" double arrow. Once I used both of these buttons in the proper sequence, reprogramming the TV remote with the new code worked.

Wow it took me a couple hours but hey i found the code ever1 needs and its a 5 digit code for comcast remotes with the red ok button the codes r 10090 or 10030 hope ive helped u out good luck
