You can download driver for hp900 inkjet from below link.
Just select your operating system and download driver then install it in your computer then connect your printer to computer with usb cable then you can use your printer from computer.

Usually Ubuntu doesnt require any additional motherboard drivers if it has an open source version.

In Ubuntu 9.04, System> HARDWARE DRIVERS will show you all proprietary drivers in the system. You can ACTIVATE them there. Some files may be required to be downloaded from internet.

Install the package xorg-driver-fglrx. You can get it from http://packages.ubuntu.com. If you experience any problems then try this link: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=926860

Go to system > Admin > Restricted Driver Manager.
Enter your Admin password.

Two things might happen now either ubuntu will download the drivers it needs or it will provide you with a list of the drivers on your computer allowing you to choose one.
