Replacing cracked screen

Insert your plastic pry tool into the seam in the side of your touch and run it along the length of the device to release the back panel from the front.
If your replacement screen did not come with a plastic pry tool, then a small flat-head screwdriver will also work.
Remove the square battery from the motherboard in the front housing by running the pry tool along the sides of it and gently pulling up.
Remove the small piece of black tape from the bottom of the front housing to expose three screws.
Remove the three screws using your small Phillips-head screwdriver. Remove the small screw near the top of the battery connector ribbon as well.
Remove the metal cover from the bottom of the front housing with the plastic pry tool.
This will expose the ribbon that connects the screen to the front housing and motherboard.
Flip the screen-connector ribbon up and gently pop it out. Then remove the two screws at the top of the front housing and disconnect the one other screen-connector ribbon.
This will release a thin metal board at the top of the housing that guards the screen. Pull the metal board out carefully.
Remove the 16 small screws from the side of the screen.
Once the screws are removed, the LCD screen will be free of the housing.
Gently remove the screen and replace it with the new one.
Replace the screws and reassemble the iPod touch the same way you took it apart.

How do i remove the screen to my Mitsubishi wd-62638

For the model indicated (WD-62638) the entire screen unit needs to be removed.

Some models had two mirrors--the usual large one in back and a tiny one in the bottom front.

1. Locate and remove front plate below screen (where you may access the lamp as most of these are taken out from front)

2. Remove all the screws ON THE BACK OF THE SET around the top and both sides.

3. Remove a plate behind the removed lower front grill and there you should find a set of wires that go to front keyboard.

4. With that done look carefully at either front side below the screen unit---one screw on either side---do not remove but just back them out.

5. 2 person job---the entire screen unit lifts up and out.

6. DO NOT try to clean the large mirror---if touched with hand or your hair it will smudge and it will show in the picture.

7. If the little mirror is there at the bottom---it can be cleaned with glass cleaner---

8. Insert the screen unit back with the two front lower screws supporting it (have someone hold it in place until you line up and install all all the rear and then the 2 front screws.

Let me know if you have questions.

How to removing toshiba satellite a305-s6872 screen

to remove the screen.... the front plastic bezel needs to be removed first.... Remove the rubber screw covers on the front of screen frame... then remove the screws.
then use a plastic tool...like a credit card, start at a corner and pull the front bezel towards you .. you need to unsnap the plastic bezel... it is held on by snap locks all the way around it... Pull the front bezel frame off...

then there are screws on each side of the screen holding it to the hinge post rails.... Unscrew them.... Tilt the screen forward from the top...

Unplug the Display cable (it is taped on at the plug port..... pull tape downward)
then unplug the LCD bulb Cable from the inverter...

It has a spider web inside the screen and I need to know how to clean it because it is directly in the center of the screen

The best way to get at it is through removal of the front screen. Start by removing the front speaker grill-should just pull off (snap fitted). Then remove the front control panel (4screws). Next remove 4 screws from bottom of front of screen- the screen should ten just pull off -also snap fit- Make sure the set is unplugged before you begin- Once the screen is off you can also clean the lenses and the mirror (if glass) use a soft damp cloth.
