Hi Ahmad,
I've got same issue on the same UPS generation last week we tried to solve the issue by changing some dead batteries but without success, it tripped a gain with same alarms.
I hope someone answers our question ASAP.
what country , what voltage AC mains
did it ever work right even new>
did you when new set it up per the manual for your countries voltage mains?
no model told
did you read the UPS logs see if AC mains are failing all the time.
what is breaker amps. there ? if WRONG BINGO.
call and electrician yet this is easy for them,
what does this mean"I had given my UPS"
A GIFT OF A USED UPS NEVER EVER SET UP CORRECTLY??
Some of the less expensive UPS devices have two sets of plugs. One set provides backup power and the other set only provides surge protection. You need to ensure that the devices for which you want backup power are plugged into the correct outlets on the UPS.
Does it trip immediately or after a time? If it's immediate then there's a dead short on the line (or possibly inside the UPS). If it takes time to trip then there's a slow build up of too much current use. This is usually caused by defective capacitors in a power supply.
I think you are trying to save money, but I think it is time to let go of the unit and get another one.
If you are in the USA....I can help you with that replacement unit.
The problem with UPS is sometimes replacing them is better then repairing them. In their life time they see transits, impulses, black outs and all sorts of power issues that normally would blow out a computer. So the reliability factor is in the toilet by now.
You can contact me and I can send you a pdf or word doc. of any size UPS you might need at a afordable cost.
