Hello Sir 6x is stand for back light please check backlight with backlight tester if ok then check power supply in this case set is old like 7year and confirm back light is defective replace the back light

Most probably the case of backlight failure. Repairable but only by an expert Tech.

Many reasons for this fault. The main is with its back-light. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

In some models of LCD TVS; the backlight inverter and its T'Con board will be a part of the panel itself, and will be a built-in type inside the LCD panel. If so, they can't be replaced. In this case; a panel replacement is the only repair. For some other models, the backlight inverter section circuit will be a part of the main power supply regulator [SMPS]. To such sets, the power supply section circuit too should trouble shoot. Contact any service technician. The circuit will differ with models and versions.

Replace your backlight. Manual should tell you how.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.

Study the screen at several different angles; you should be able to see some ghostly images if the video chain is OK. If you can see this, either the backlight supply or fluorescent light source has failed.
