Thomson wireless Headphones. The red input/power light is not indicating on the base unit where you lodge the headphones. The green charging light is lit up. How can I resolve.

Murdo's tip to trim off the cover of the AA battery base to expose a few mm of metal is spot on. Replacement rechargeable batteries for my Thomson wireless headphones did not charge, no green light, utterly frustrating, till I read Murdho's suggestion. Thanks for that

Thomson 585 v6 we're is the wps button.

Hello:

According to the manual, the Thomson ST585v6 doesn't support WPS. You will have to record the wireless passphrase and enter it manually in the device you're trying to install on the network.

I have just bought a hp wireless laptop but my thomson router does not come up in the list to connect to , belkin and others do, how do i add thomson to the list

Assuming that a thomson router is a wireless device and not a DSL or cable modem then check the router settings under 192.168.x.1 where x is usually listed on the back of the device and see if wireless broadcast is turned off. check you have the right wep/wpa/wpa2 settings turned on and that mac access control is turned off until you've added this new device successfully. Also check that you're not trying to use a wireless g device with a wireless b router config - ensure the broadcast and device compatibility stacks up.

Can't conect to modem

I have just set up a broadband connection for some neighbours using the Thomson router and had similar problems.

Leave the computer on, power down the router, leave it for a few seconds and power it up again. It worked for me.

But it seems that we have this problem every time i,e if the router is on and you switch on the computer it won't connect, but if the computer is on and you switch on the router everything works as it should. I haven't got to the bottom of this yet.
