It is very possible the drivers conflict. You should try uninstalling everything to do with the one you don't want. Then install the drivers/software for the 700. Also what software are you using and what version? Thanks, Lee
Remove your memory card and restart your archos, when it asks if you want to repair blahblah... just keep pressing the cross till it loads as normal with the sd card 'out', this should work, to stop it happening in the future format your memory card 'sd' with your archos once it has started. Hope that helps!
Go to settings and look under system. Then look where it says usb peference then see if it says windows media device if not change it to this and if that doesnt work try the other settings. If that doesnt work go to Archos.com and contact them and see what they can do.
then i upgraded to Archos 605 Wifi (20GB-160GB) OS v 2.1.04 heres the link for 2.0.10 http://update.archos.com/5/a605/a605_r2.0.10/firmware_a605.aos and heres the link for 2.1.04 http://update.archos.com/5/a605/a605_r2.1.04/firmware_a605.aos
If change the setting of the 605 to "hard disk" then a PC sees the 605 as a hard disc when connected using the usb lead. You can then copy and paste files directly to the 605..
