I called Whirlpool on 08706008989. The machine can only dry half a load of washing at a time. At the end of the washing cycle, the Programme dial should be at either the sun or half sun symbol. Remove half the washing, set the drying time via the drying time dial and press the 1/2 Load Dryer button - Voila dry clothes!

Wont cycle to dry clothes

When the dryer door is open, you should be able to find a switch (it may be just a button protruding from the cabinet). The switch turns the machine off when the door is opened. It may be damaged or worn out.

Thor washer/dryer combo not drying properly. What is capacity of machine?

Whilst 'combos' will 'wash' a full load of clothes, they are not so good at 'drying' a full load. Since there must be a 'tumbling space' inside of the drum, into which the clothes can fall during the drying cycle.
In a 'nutshell' one 'wash load' equals 'two drying loads',
That's the price you pay for having a space saving 'combo' machine instead of having a 'washing AND a drying machine.
Add to that the fact that most 'combos' are 'condenser driers', as opposed to 'free flow outlet driers',
.
The consequence is that it takes far longer to 'wash and dry' a load of clothes in a 'combi' as oppose to two separate machines

I have a Whirlpool Gas Dryer LGR6646BI-12 the clothes feel warm but not hot and they are still damp

The Dryness Level allows adjustment of how damp or dry the clothes are at the end of the cycle.
  1. Make sure the correct Cycle has been selected for the type of fabric being dried.
  2. If the correct cycle is selected and the clothes are still coming out too damp, use the Auto Dry Level button (Kenmore) or Dryness Level button to increase the Dryness level.

  1. If the highest Dryness Level setting was selected and the clothes are still damp, the Customer Focused Drying Mode settings that are built into the machine can be adjusted.
Dryers come from the factory set to Drying Mode 1 (default). Drying Modes 2 and 3, include additional drying time.
Note: This change will affect ALL Auto Dry cycles.
  1. Machine MUST be in Standby mode before beginning. (Standby mode = Plugged in, Power off)

  1. To select drying modes, momentarily press the Auto Dry Level button (Kenmore) or Dryness Level button (Whirlpool) again. The dryer will beep, and the display will flash and show the next drying mode number.
  1. With the door open and the display flashing the desired drying mode number, press the Start button to save the drying mode and exit diagnostics.
  1. Press the Pause/Cancel key at any time to cancel changes and exit from this mode.
Hope this works............

Whirlpool AWZ410 Washer/Dryer Washes But Will Not Dry!

I have the same problem. The half load / drying button is pushed in; the drying time set; I've reduced the load to almost nothing, but it won't dry. I've tried numerous cycles. The clothes spin, but are still damp at the end.

How would I go about checking my lid switch or fixing my clutch, if that's the problem?

Dryer not drying

look at the vent outside and see if it closing or even has a cover this allows cold air inside the dryer and cause it to take longer to dry
