When I use the "stay" button on my NX-6 control panel I can open the front door and no alarm goes off. The panel only shows that the motion detectors are bypassed. How do I fix this?

The stay mode most likely follows the same exit delay that the away mode uses, try waiting a minute or two after arming in stay then try the front door.

How do I get out of silent mode on uniden dect 6.0

http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/D1760om.pdf
1. With the phone in standby, press and hold # on any handset. The phone prompts you to select the number of hours (1 - 9 or Always On) that you want it to stay in silent mode.
2. To confirm, press # or just wait about 5 seconds. The phone turns on the answering system and displays Silent Mode On on each handset.
3. After the selected number of hours, the phone automatically exits silent mode. To exit silent mode manually, press and hold # again.

Release mode resets to default when camera turns off

That's the way the camera works. You can use the "Remote on Duration" command in the Setup menu to change the length of time the camera stays on waiting for a command from the remote, but if the camera times out then it will revert to non-remote operation. An alternative would be to hook up an external power supply and keep the camera from turning off at all.

HP 2510 printer in "wait" mode indefinitely

It sounds to me like the printer needs repaired/replaced as the gears which drive the printer cartridges' belt are no longer aligning correctly. At today's prices, I strongly suggest just replacing the printer as you can get a new one pretty cheap now. Good luck!
