You'll have to log on to facebook using a computer. Then go into your account and change the associated number.

How do I change my password? If you're logged into your Facebook account, you can change your password from your settings page. From there:

1. Click Password
2. Type your current and new password
3. Click Save Changes

If you can't log into Facebook and need to reset your password:

1. Go to the login page at https://www.facebook.com
2. In the top right, click Can't log in?
3. Type the email, phone number or username associated with your account, then click Search and follow the on-screen instructions

If you can log in log in and go to profile from there go to settings it's in the area where you see apps message etc from setting enter Account settings and it will show you change password
But if you can't log in just hit forgot password and it will send you and email to change it Hope this helps

There have been changes to facebook recently although you should still be able to log in with your original account. Try contacting facebook about this.

Point your web browser at http://www.facebook.com

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the little gear icon in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

Once you're in to your Facebook account, you can change the email address by clicking the little gear icon in the upper-right, clicking "Settings," then clicking the "Edit" to the right of the "Email" line.

Get her to LOG OUT of Facebook on your computer then you can log yourself in.

You need to wait for around 24 hours for logging in. Trying repeatedly with wrong passwords or too many password changes triggers Facebook's login lock system.

If you want to change Facebook user accounts on the same computer, you can do one of three things:

1) Simply click on Account and Logout, then log in with the new user.

2) Use a different browser, like Firefox, so that the first user doesn't need to log out before the second user can log in - the second user simply opens the Internet in Firefox instead.

3) Create a new Windows user account. The second user would then log out of the first person's Windows account and log in to their own and open Facebook there.

if you can't log in due to maintenance it means you will need to wait until maintenance is completed.
What it means is that the facebook team is busy improving or fixing their service and this means that facebook is not accessible while they do this.
Just be patient and it will be working again soon ;)
