Ipod Connection How do I connect an ipod to a Technics SA-AX540 Receiver?

pop into comet or currys and ask them for tecknics customer sevices number ring them and the wil probly send you one you might have to pay potage

quick solution is to go down to radio shack and get a small amp.  They have them for under a $100.00 bucks. The connection is from the mini jack to stereo RCA's for greatest ease and flexibility.  You can also go to a good music shop like Guitar Center and see what they have used.

You just connect it in the auxilliary input then switch your reciever to auxilliary so you can the sound of your ipod. First buy a wire connector from ipod to reciever.

It is unlikely that the display itself is faulty although it can happen. The typical problem is either the backlight is defective or the suply to the unit has a bad connection. If you can solder, try resoldering the pins on the display itself. The pins on the ends are the power and ground. I don't recall whether or not your model has a separate back light bulb or not. That too could be burned. Chack for that too.
