It sounds like the fuser is not heating up to the correct temperature. If you are printing on specific papers, for example: envelopes, bond, linen, make sure to set your printer settings accordingly. Otherwise you will need a new fuser unit for the printer.

Need to download a service manual where can i download a service manual for a Dell laser printer 1320c

Apparently others have tried to obtain a service manual for that model, and one was not available. Frustration was expressed, but it did not result in obtaining a service manual for that model.

https://www.dell.com/community/Printers/1320c-Service-manual/td-p/5112626

Other sites might have some solutions for problems with that model, even though not a service manual.

Example:

https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln153516/replacing-the-phd-unit-on-1320c-2130cn-2135cn-2150cn-2150cdn-2155cn-2155cdn-dell-laser-printers?lang=en

Here is another approach to try for repairing it. Perhaps a service manual for a similar model, since your is from 2013, would be helpful. Since the link above from Dell shows other model numbers using a similar part replacement so maybe service manual for one of them could be located: 2130cn 2135cn 2150cn 2150cdn 2155cn 2155cdn

2130cn service manual from 2010:
http://www.refurbisheddellprinters.com/content/manuals/service/Dell%202130cn%20Full%20Manual.pdf

2135cn service manual from 2008:
http://www.refurbisheddellprinters.com/content/manuals/service/Dell%202135cn%20Full%20Manual.pdf

2150cn service manual (registration required to download)

Miscellaneous service manuals:

https://www.mpsprinters.com/categories/dell-service-manuals.html?sort=pricedesc&page=2

Sorry to put so many links, but perhaps one of these will help solve problems with that printer.

What is the part number for the dell 2135cn phd (print head device) Thank you!

I believe the part number is 330-1435 or P266C or Y459D
(these all are for the same part on the website - Dell uses multiple numbers to refer to the same item)

I have a dell 3130. A few months old. Recently, the toner, especially black, hasnot been sticking to the paper peoperly. You can rub it off. Also, paper has been jamming. A little guide at the top has...

Toner rubbing off could be caused by a few things. First, make sure you are using proper paper and genuine dell toner. If both of these are true and the problem continues you may need to replace the fuser. The part number is M508D. Iteminc.com has these in stock and ships same day. Here is a video that shows you how to replace the fuser.

Prints faint copies

If the print rubs off the page, this means the toner is not being fused to the page. Fused......this is done by the fuser. This would have nothing to do with light print.

The dell (1600n and 1815n /1815dn) printer drivers has a toner saver mode, which can contribute to light print.

To turn Toner Save Mode off, (Windows XP) perform the following steps:
  1. Click the Start button, click Settings, and then click Printer and Faxes.
The Printers and Faxes window appears.
  2. Right-click Dell Laser MFP 1600n, 1815dn, and left-click Printing Preferences.
The Dell Laser MFP 1600n, 1815dn Printing Preferences window appears.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
The Dell Laser MFP 1600n, 1815dn Advanced Options window appears.
  4. Click to highlight Toner Save.
  5. Click the drop-down list and change it to Off and click OK.
  6. Click OK.
One thing that you mentioned in your post "it takes the printer forever to warm up". The fuser does have to reach operational temperature in order for it to fuse the toner to the page. So it is possible that you are having fuser problems, because of the time it is taking for it to warm up. Another thing that can contribute to the warm up time is not plugging the laser printer directly into a wall outlet. This would be true for any laser printer, not just a Dell laser printer. The low voltage power supply is what works the fuser, along with sensors and other motors in the printer.

Replacing the fuser and or the low voltage power supply in this model of printer is not an easy task. If using a Dell branded toner cartridge and checking the toner saver mode does not fix the issue. Then you would be looking at more expense then the machine would possibly be worth.
