This problem is almost always due to a defective gas valve. If you decide to replace the part yourself remember safety 1st, turn off the gas and disconnect power to the range.
if the ignition is working but wont lite the gas presure valve is detecting a fault and refusing to lite you will need to have it checked by a cert plumber.. sorry
