Every time I turn on the amp, I hear a pop and nothing happens. I checked the main fuse and it is blown. I unplugged the power side of the board and the fuse do not blow. But when I plug in the main board the fuse blows. What is it on the main board that could cause this problem.
Your either overloading something cause that's what pops fuses. My guess is that what your plugging in or into has a ground issue. I'm wondering if it does it with nothing plugged in at all. I would say if you have nothing in and it does it, you need to find where the ground issue is. that's my best guess

Actually its pretty funny thing with those speakers is the "fuse" is Actually called a Lamp in this case. These are what they call a " Red Dot Fuse ". in all the years i've been doing this i've never thought to look up the value haha. Just have to know there are Red Dot lamps and Blue dots and No Dot. If you examine the LAMP you should see somewhere close to the ends ON THE GLASS a color dot of some kind. almost like someone painted it on there. Red Dot Lamp. any parts distributer for people like Harbinger, Peavey, and B52 will KNOW what your talking about

The preamp section has a problem. It could be anything in the preamp but is OFTEN the input jack itself. They take a lot of abuse.
Also the insert jack contacts that forward the preamp to the power amp if no external FX are used can go bad.
Additional things are circuit board cracks caused by rough handling and also controls that have had the knobs mashed in which can destroy the potentiometers they are connected to.

If the amp has done a lot of hours, the output tubes may be worn out.
SOURCE: amp has blown a fuse could be just a spike or bad
Slow blow should be fine. It is mostly for fire protection.
