Is this Wurlitzer designed with a screen to play videos? Has it played video CD audio in the past?
There are a lot of different audio/video file types and some CD setups will only play 'audio' file types, (MP3, AAC, M4A). If the file format is commonly used as video the electronics in the player won't recognise the format and won't play it.
I've checked out some specs for you, this item cannot play video from an iPod apparently. It will play DivX encoded videos from CD/DVD/USB/SDcard. it will play it will also play dvd's or Video CD. i think the video in these is a wrapper that includes MPEG4 video and some kind of audio. You might be able to play .avi files for example.
I believe you are playing streaming video. if this the case, it would depend on your actual connection speed. when it pauses, it means, it is downloading portion of the video, then it resumes to play the downloaded part. Once it has been played, it will need to pause to download again. If your connection is not as fast as what is required by the streaming video, a trick would be to open the streaming video and when it tries to start, press the PAUSE button. Allow the progress bar to go till the end of the video (same like letting it download completely), then it will play fully when you hit PLAY.
One commone reason for no videos is that you might have removed Flash player, which is required to play videos on youtube.
you can download flashplayer here. Installing flashplayer will enables the playing of videos on youtube.
