Star button on vtech 6.o does not function properly

All questions need full 'make model (what it is)'. They make dozens of models.

It is a simple programming issue. Find the manual and use Search to find 'Call Forwarding'.

The star key is the key marked with a six-pointed star, located just below the "7" and to the left of the "0".

Sharp AR-M207 . Enter these keys one after the other to reset:

1. # - * - C - *(pound, star, C, star).
2. The screen will go blank and ask you to enter a code
3. Enter "14" and press the print button.
4. It comes back and asks if you are sure(showing "1" as default). Press enter.
5. Machine should then reset

Lets say that you currently pick up line 1 to make an outgoing call, but you want to pick up your last line (in this case we will say we have 6 phone lines).
This feature is called "Auto line select"
To program Auto line select:
From extension 10 or 11:
Press feature 00
LEFT INTERCOM
LEFT INTERCOM
RIGHT INTERCOM
Enter the extension number of the extension you need changed.
press ** (start, star)
Then the order you want the lines to get picked up
Then ** (star, star) when done
When finished, press feature 00 to get out of programming.
So, in this example I would enter my extension number (22) and press ** (star, star) and press line 6, line 5, line 4, line 3, line 2, and line 1. Then I press ** (start, star) to signify that I am done programming Auto Line Select. And feature 00 to get out of programming.
Easy as pie.

after calling or receiving a number press side lock button for 2 seconds your screen will be unlocked and you use your in call functions bye...

Instructions for unlocking Nokia 6720 classic

1. Switch ON your phone without SIM Card.

2. Type #PW+CODE+1#

where CODE is the unlock code provided by us.

To Create the #PW+ symbols needed

look at the right side of the print outs for the numbers.

1. First do a CUSTOM reset: *2767*2878# (star 2767 star 2878 hash)
turn off the phone
2. take out the battery and sim and put wrong network SIM and insert a half of it,
so it won't ask for network password and shows "Insert SIM" message.
Now put the battery ,and switch the phone on .(phone shows "Insert SIM" message.)
3.With out turn off the phone push the sim fully in. At this stage the phone is still asking to "Insert SIM"
4. Make a FULL reset by typing: *2767*3855#(star 2767 star 3855 hash)
5. The phone should reboot working with "wrong" sim inside.
6. Make a Change the NCK password to 8 zeros by typing: *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
(star 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros star 8zeros hash)
7. Now Disable network lock By typing: #7465625*638*00000000#
(hash 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros hash)
Phone is unlocked (check with *#7465625#)

3) The phone will show "SIM Restriction Off," in case it doesn't unlock the phone, you will have to replace step 2 but use 7 instead of 1
4) Device is now unlocked

The error code mean your fixing heater isnt getting warm in a specific time.But it can be caused by a power dip.
So try this.
Press the star button and then the no 2 and 8 together press star again.Then you are in service mode.
In service mode sellect "copier" and then "Function"and then"clear"ant then"error" and press the ok on the screen.Swiths the machine at the plug off and on.

If it doen't help you will have to contact your Canon dealer to replace that Fixing.
