Installed new DQ45EK with E7300 Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHZ. Generally, starts when switching case power, before turning pushing power button & fan's go off no boot. After pushing power on button, get 1 beep, with F2 & F10 bios commands on lower right of monitor with the number 50 then EB. The only additional hardware on board is E7300 Cor 2 Duo 2.66GHZ and two 1 Gig DDR2 memories in slot A & slot B. Power supply is ANTEC 350, 500 gig SATA hard drive that has been reformatted and DVD reader to load XP with service pack 1. XP loads up to "installing windows", starts to load 2/3 of progress bar and then the blue screen shows up. Any suggestions on how to get past this point or find out what's wrong?
clean install ............. floppy... fdisk deleting all partitions first.... and then making a partition of the whole disk.. then formatting.... then do the install and of course ntfs.... and see how that goes

Hi this is tech crazy
The solution to the problem is as follows
The main reason for CPU fan overworking or not working is due to the load we put on the syatem while operating. So,the first reason for fan not working may be due to the SMPS malfunctionality.Better check out for it.The reason if fan is working but Overworking is due to viruses is system. So go in for format
Hope this solution helps you
Please do rate me on the above said solution

Testimonial: "This was very helpful. It helped me get through this. Updated BIOS, it showed 4 gig. Windows XP still showed 3. So XP problem it is."
SOURCE: Computer will power on, but
One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps
